Books about breathing techniques are often published in a therapeutic or in a spiritual context, as part of yoga or awareness theories. How to breathe is a book about breathing techniques aimed at the general public.
Even though providing a big range of facts, the book is not chiefly text-based. Avoiding the two extremes that books of this genre tend to go for (or very clinical or very spiritual look), How to breathe is full of illustrations that create a friendly and playful atmosphere.
